John
is interviewed in the new issue of Q Magazine (December,
issue 233). This is the previously mentioned interview which was
held back from last month… It's a pretty entertaining read,
although the journo does try his best to drop in the odd snide comment
or two, however, as you'd expect, John is on good form; "Don't
be a smart arse, because I will defeat you…" All
good stuff though, and well worth checking out. |

UK
viewers keep an eye out for the VH1 Classic 'Sex
Pistol Special'. This is the previously mentioned VH1
show that features an extensive interview with John, along with
various PiL / Pistols promo videos, plus comments from other bands
such as Franz Ferdiand, Oasis, The Prodigy & Depeche Mode.
The 1
hour show premiered
last Saturday, 15th October on VH1 Classic, and has been shown
at various times since (including today & tomorrow). Check
your local listings for full info.
Please
note: The show is also being screened by VH2,
and although it has been re-titled 'John
Lydon's Greatest hits ', it is exactly
the same show (and also separate to John's recent MTV2 'Gonzo'
interview).

John's
recent interview on BBC1's religious show 'Heaven &
Earth' is now available to view in the "video archive"
section of the 'Heaven
& Earth' web site. Only John could call a Priest "a
man in a dress in a little box" on Sunday morning religious
TV and get away with it!
We've just added a
couple of screen grabs from this show, along
with some of John's other recent UK TV appearances, to our TV
& Video Grab Gallery.

We've
added a further selection of press reviews
to the 'Best of
British £1 Notes' mini-site. They certainly seem to have
the knives out this time around, but as John says in his new interview
with us, "You should never be shy of negativity, ever.
So what?"
Thanks to Sarah Watson @ EMI / Virgin for the reviews

John Lydon interview coming very soon!

In
the meantime we've added a recent interview John did with the
Irish Times to the Press
section of our 'Best
of British £1 Notes' mini-site. You'll also find a selection
of reviews, including some particularly lovely
bile from The Sillygraph, and some downright
stupidity from the NME. Apparently 'Warrior' sounds like Billy
Idol! Are they deaf!
All is
not lost, you'll
find far more sensible reviews of both the CD
& DVD
from Fodderstompf.Com!

You
will also be able to listen to John's one hour special
with Gary Crowley all this week via the BBC
Radio London web site. John talks in length about 'The Best
of British', discussing the Pistols, PiL, his recent TV activities,
and gives a full update of his forthcoming new solo album. Just
click the Gary Crowley link on their
site.

It's
probably worth keeping an eye on the BBC's 'Heaven
& Earth' web site, as they may possibly add video of John's
interview from this morning's show in the near future.

The
more eagle eyed among you may have noticed we recently added a
whole mini web site
dedicated to John’s 1997 ‘Psycho’s Path’
album; interviews, clips, song-by-song quotes from John,
plus pix, lyrics, and even reviews!
The majority
of the info was already available throughout the site, but it’s
been brought together, along with the odd little surprise. Follow
the link, or enter via the Records
section.
