 PiL make their first US TV appearance in 18 years tomorrow – Wednesday, April 7th – on ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live in Los Angeles. The band will be performing 2 live songs on the outdoor concert stage. The show airs 12.05 PT / 11.05 CT. See the Jimmy Kimmel Live website for more details.
The North American Tour starts a week today at Los Angeles, Club Nokia on Tuesday, April 13th. Followed by a special appearance at the Coachella Festival on Friday 16th. See Shows page for full announced PiL tour dates and ticket links...

PiL will make their first US TV appearance in 18 years on ABC’s 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' on Wednesday, April 7th. They have also added 3 dates to their previously announced North American Tour.

John has just returned from Oslo in Norway where he was shooting a special appearance in the film 'Teori og Praksis' (Theory or Practice).
The film is based on the book by author Nicolai Frobenius and deals with Nicolai's adolescent relationship with his father as he rebels with music and the Sex Pistols in the suburbs of Norway. John plays himself in the film.

'Teori og Praksis' is directed by Jens Lien and written with Nikolai Frobenius. It is due to for release in 2011.
John and John would like to pass on their thanks to Jens and Christian, and everyone who worked on the project. They applaud your professionalism, hospitality and dedication. They were treated very well and they thoroughly enjoyed working with everyone. |

 We are pleased to announce that PiL will begin a North American tour – their first in 18 years – at San Francisco, Regency Center, Grand Ballroom on Saturday April 17th 2010. The day following their appearance at the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.

After returning in December 2009 for seven monumental concerts in the United Kingdom–their first shows in 17 years–PUBLIC IMAGE LTD (PiL) are now set to play their first show in the United States in 18 years at the COACHELLA VALLEY MUSIC & ARTS FESTIVAL on Friday, April 16 (opening day of the three-day event) in Indio, CA. previously mentioned John Lydon Culture Show special debuts
on BBC4 this Tuesday, January 5th. The show is
an expanded version of the 10 minute PiL feature on The Culture
Show from December.
As well as additional footage, John talks about 'Flowers of Romance',
Shakespeare, Mozart, and his childhood. The show will be repeated
on BBC4 and will also be available on the BBC iPlayer service for

PiL
wrapped up their long awaited return on Thursday at the Camden,
Electric Ballroom. Lu Edmonds, Scott Firth, Bruce
Smith, and of course, John Lydon proved
all the doubters wrong. The gigs were absolutely stunning, a 2
hour set featuring a wide variety of songs from all eras. "Public
Image. Proper music for proper people"

tomorrow night at the Birmingham Academy. Shows follow in Leeds,
