Sex
Pistols 'There'll Always Be An England' -
recorded live at London, Brixton, Academy, November 2007 - premiers
on Fuse TV in the USA this Thursday, August 6th at
11pm (ET).
John
is interviewed in the forthcoming September issue of Uncut
Magazine for
a special feature on the groundbreaking 1984 Time Zone
- World Destruction single with Africa Bambaataa.

Men with Beards – the US label
who re-issued 'Metal Box' on vinyl in 2006 – released another two
PiL albums on vinyl in the States earlier this
year. 'Flowers of Romance' and 'Second
Edition' were issued on 180 gram vinyl on May
26th 2009.
Rhino Records in the US also re-issued
'Album' - again on 180 gram vinyl - on March 10th
2009.

Mr
Rotten and Mr Rambo would like to wish Nelson Winbush a
happy 80thbirthday on March 9th. Congradulations
to you.
As you may remember, Nelson was interviewed about his
Grandfather - Louis Napoleon Nelson
Winbush - for Rotten Loves America in
February 2007. Louis was a black Confederate soldier from the War
of Southern Independence and Nelson is a proud member of the
Sons Of Confederate Veterans.
Dr Leonard Haynes a African Professor at Southern University stated: "When
you eliminate the black confederate soldier you've eliminated

The
film 'Waltz with Bashir' - which features 'This
Is Not A Love Song by Public Image Ltd - has been nominated
for an Oscar in
the Best Foreign Film category; it has already won a Golden Globe
Award.
The animated Israeli film directed and written by Ari Folman
tells the story of a young soldier during the nightmares of the
1982 Lebanon war. You can watch the trailer via YouTube; which
also includes the PiL track.
John's
1994 autobiography Rotten: No Irish, No
Blacks, No Dogs was re-published in the USA, with another new
cover, by Picador Books on October 28th. Which is all news to John
and John.
John
appeared in a special photo-shoot for a recent issue of Italian
Vogue Magazine.

coincide with the US release of 'There'll
Always Be An England' DVD, Rhino Records re-issue the US LP
edition of the legendary 'Never Mind The
Bollocks, Here’s
The Sex Pistols' on 180-gram heavy vinyl, tomorrow, Tuesday, October
21st.
For
your information, the Sex Pistols have been nominated for Best
Headline Act at the UK Festival Awards 2008.
The shortlist
will be announced on October 13th, and you can vote via
the Festival
Awards website. The overall winners will then be decided
by a second round of public voting, ending on October 20th.
John
will be appearing in UK TV advertisements for Country Life
Butter. The adverts, produced by Grey London, see John
travel round Britain, Rotten fashion, investigating why he enjoys
Country Life.
Quote from Johnny Rotten: “I
for one am proud to be British and I’m proud to get behind
a proper British brand. That’s why I’m supporting

“People know I only do things that I
want to or that I believe in and I have to do it my way. I’ve
never done anything like this before and never thought I would

The ad premieres on ITV1, this Wednesday, October
1st, at approx 20:20. There are 2 versions of the ad, both

PS: The stunning picture below is from the Summer Sonic Festival
in Tokyo. We forgot to mention it at the time, but the following
night in Osaka you may have heard they kept playing the intro
music over and over. Well, the festival was so large that the driver
taking John and John couldn't find the correct stage. He was completely
lost. It took him 25 minutes! Proper Spinal Tap. They got there in
the end though. They always do...
John

The Sex Pistols 2007 re-recorded
version of 'Pretty Vacant' will appear in the new edition of the
Guitar Hero video game: 'Guitar Hero World
Tour'; due for release
fall 2008. 'Anarchy in the UK' previously featured in 'Guitar Hero
III: Legends Of Rock'.
US
releases: Sex Pistols 'There'll Always Be An England' DVD & 'Never
Mind The Bollocks' vinyl re-issue LP…
'There'll Always Be An England' DVD gets
a US release via Rhino (in association
with Fremantle Media) on October 14th. Recorded
at last years now legendary Brixton Academy shows, the full-length
concert DVD also includes an additional 90 minute interview feature
where the band members visit parts of London.
October 21st also sees Rhino reissue the Pistols
one-and-only true studio album 'Never Mind The Bollocks:
