To celebrate the forthcoming Public Image is Rotten (Songs from The Heart) box set we are previewing a previously unreleased version of Annalisa re-mixed in 1979 at The Townhouse Studios.

Speaking about the track in the upcoming documentary on the band’s history, John Lydon says: "Annalisa: a bizarre story. It’s about a young 14-year-old girl in Germany. Her parents were convinced she was possessed by demons. So they called in a priest and they suffocated her while trying to ex-communicate these demons. They actually killed the poor girl."
