Update May 13th 2022
After a few technical glitches, we finally got our NFT collection verified on the Rarible page with a golden tick.
They are quite abstract and don’t follow the usual format of the NFT world.
This is my art. Broken apart. Not everyone gets it. If you don’t like it – pass and move on.
I’ve been asked by several people to do something in the NFT sphere, pretty much since day 1 of these things arriving on the scene. So, I’m doing this now to raise a bit of cash for The Sptiz Charitable Trust. They’re a brilliant charity based in my old stomping ground in Islington, that take professional musicians in to care homes and day centres. They use live music to improve the wellbeing and cognitive function of people living with dementia. 5% of all the takings from my NFTs goes straight to them. The rest will be going to sufferers closer to home, here in LA.
NFTs have a bad rap of causing environmental damage, so I’m working with the Phantom Planter, a self-professed ‘Paramili-Tree’ organisation based in Northern Ireland for all the carbon offsetting.

Announcing Mr Rotten’s NFTs
John Lydon is delighted to announce his first foray into the world of Non-Fungible Tokens. In aid of Dementia and Alzheimer’s sufferers at home and abroad (including The Spitz Charitable Trust, London), he has made just 100 NFT collectibles from a singular piece of art.
Within this artwork, there are several Easter Eggs, including; The Cheeky Monkey, The Desperate People, The Naked Truther and The Eye-Souls. These will be sold separately as premium numbered items from the collection. The NFT, “Mr Rotten’s No.1”, will be of the entire image, which is being auctioned in a bundle, to include an NFT of the original promo video and the signing photo NFT.
